View and analyze 2D/3D pavement profiles
The ASTM Committee E17 on Vehicle Pavement Systems has honored Dr. George Chang, ProVAL team lead, with the 2010 Meyer-Horne Outstanding Achievement Award. Dr. Chang was previously awarded an HW Kummer Lecture Award, also from ASTM E17, in 2007.
Some templates from 3.0 are not being imported correctly. After downloading this version, please delete your existing 3.1 template file. If you still have problems opening projects or creating new ones, please let us know.
This release’s major new feature is the addition of the Automated Faulting analysis Module (AFM). Two important items from the Release Notes: Microsoft .NET 3.5 SP1 is now required The Project file format has changed quite a bit, so the extension was changed from P3P to PVP. Just one fix in the Smoothness Assurance Analysis. The Grinding analysis for MRI and RN no longer fails when the Comparison Plot is set to Raw Profile.
A couple of minor profilograph fixes and the inclusion of a file that was missing from the previous installation.
Mostly minor fixes—some related to the change in sections in the last release.
As always, it is vitally important to read the Release Notes. However, we have made one significant change highlighted here: The Full section is no longer explicitly defined or visible in the Section view. Several minor bug fixes. Please note that when you change the Full section in the editor, the Viewer will not automatically update. You will need reselect the profiles you’ve just edited. To avoid this task, always make sure everything is correct in the Editor first. In the meantime, we’ll look for a way to update(more…)
