ProVAL 3.02 Updated

There was an annoying multithreaded bug preventing the software from starting on some systems. Also, if you use a proxy, you will likely not yet be able to retrieve news on ProVAL Online.

ProVAL 3.02 Released

This release contains several bug fixes and new features. We’d also like to point out an existing feature from 3.00: the ability to open multiple copies of ProVAL 3. ProVAL 3.01 Released

Celebrate Thanksgiving with ProVAL 3.01! As always, check the Release Notes for important information. Aside from various bug fixes, we added the ability to copy tables to the Clipboard. ProVAL 3.0 Release Candidate 3 now available

Thanks to all the adventurous people trying out PV3, RC 3 is now available. Check the Release Notes to see what’s changed. Barring any showstoppers, this will be the last version in the testing phase.

ProVAL 3.0 Release Candidate 2 now available

The most significant changes are several fixes related to Sections, particularly in SAM. Also, use with Windows x64 systems should not be a problem anymore. Check out the Release Notes for more information.

RPUG 2009 Includes Two ProVAL Workshops

Two ProVAL workshops (Advanced and QC/QA) will be offered at Sheraton Gateway Hotel – Atlanta Airport during the RPUG 2009 meeting. The RPUG 2009 meeting agenda is posted and the registration has just started. ProVAL Data Spec is an ASTM International Standard

The ASTM International standard for profile data specification, based on the ProVAL PPF spec 1.02, has been published in the ASTM annual book since 2008. This ASTM spec is designated as “E 2560-07 Standard Specification for Data Format for Pavement Profile”. ProVAL Developer Won ASTM International Award

Dr. George K. Chang, one of the ProVAL developers and workshop instructors, won an honorary 2007 Kummer Lecture Award from ASTM International. A little information on the H.W.
