ProVAL Pavement Smoothness Workshop on 2/12/25

A 3-hr ProVAL Pavement Smoothness Workshop will be conducted on February 12, 2025 from 9AM to noon US CST. This is an online, live, hands-on-centric ProVAL pavement smoothness workshop. It includes two 80-minute sessions with a 20-minute break.

  • Session 1: Basic Topics (Fundamentals of Pavement Profiling, IRI Ride Quality Analysis, Profiler Certification),
  • Session 2: Advanced Topics (Power Spectral Density -PSD-, Smoothness Assurance Module -SAM- & Grinding Simulation, Other Modules, Case Studies)

Attendees will need to have two computer screens: one for viewing the instructions and one for running the ProVAL software.
Download and install the latest ProVAL software and sample files (https://www.roadprofile.com/proval-software/current-version/).
Certificates of completion with 3 PDH or 0.3 CEU units will be emailed to participants.
